For the total renovation of the Hotel Balzac, which has 57 rooms and 13 suites, high-quality made-in-Italy custom furnishings in Louis XVI, XV and Baroque styles were chosen.

The total renovation and the choice of Angelo Cappellini’s made-in-Italy furniture earned the hotel a 5th star and nomination in the list of the leading French boutique hotels, recurring every year, by “World Travel Awards.”
Custom-made furniture for unique and elegant rooms
All 57 standard rooms are furnished in Louis XVI style, but they differ in their choice of upholstery colors, which vary between light blue, red, and purple.
Borodin collection, featuring a rich hand-crafted headboard, has been chosen for the beds. Although the hotel rooms are spacious by Parisian standards, most of the furniture is custom-made to ensure a perfect fit. The bedside tables have been reduced in width and in some cases, the second drawer has been replaced by an open storage space.
In all rooms, a Louis XVI-style TV panel cabinet was made from scratch and inserted with an aesthetic function and to cover electrical cables.
To ensure maximum functionality, custom-made furniture such as desks and luggage racks were created for the rooms. In addition, there are Louis XVI-style armchairs, chairs and benches to give comfort and create an elegant and refined atmosphere.
Corner and junior suites: maximum comfort made to measure
In the suites, where space is larger, Angelo Cappellini’s extensive catalog made it possible to fully meet the designer’s requirements, including upholstered sofas with matching coffee tables and armchairs in the lounge area.
In the even larger rooms, in addition to the lounge area, there is a dining area with a custom-made table useful for room service, whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Royal and Presidential suites
The two best suites, located on the top floor of the hotel, were decorated with different style and colors from the rest of the building.
The Royal suite, embodies the luxury and style of the French capital.
All furnishings are made with fine champagne-colored upholstery combined with sumptuous curtains and walls decorated with wallpapers that are surrounded in classical frames.
Beds from the Wagner collection in Baroque style are the stars of the sleeping area, while accessories, in Louis XV style, decorate the lounge area, which has a magnificent terrace with a view of the Eiffel Tower as its backdrop.
The presidential suite, with a more business-like mood, includes a custom-made oval table from the Degas collection, with a hand-decorated top on a black lacquered background.
In the lounge area, upholstered sofas, Vienna straw armchairs, and Louis XVI coffee tables in black finish with bronze details elegantly furnish the space.
